LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 28, 2026
Detroit Detergent LLC ("Detroit Detergent," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information through detroitdetergent.com and the Detroit Detergent CRM, including its QuickBooks Online connection.
Information we collect
We may collect contact and business information submitted through our website or entered into the CRM, including names, business names, email addresses, phone numbers, service addresses, equipment details, service records, and customer notes.
When an authorized user connects QuickBooks Online, the CRM requests read-only access to customer information such as customer names, company names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing or shipping addresses, and QuickBooks customer identifiers. The connection does not create, edit, or delete QuickBooks records.
How we use information
We use information to operate our business, respond to inquiries, schedule and document service, maintain customer records, import customer contact information from QuickBooks, provide support, secure the application, and comply with applicable obligations.
QuickBooks authorization data
QuickBooks access and refresh tokens are stored in encrypted or access-controlled cloud infrastructure and are used only to maintain the authorized connection. The private CRM access key is stored in the authorized user's device Keychain. We do not sell QuickBooks data or use it for advertising.
Sharing and service providers
We disclose information only as needed to operate the website and CRM, comply with law, protect rights and security, or complete a business transaction. Service providers may include Intuit, Cloudflare, Apple, website hosting, form processing, and related infrastructure providers. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, for business records, or as required by law. An authorized user may disconnect QuickBooks at any time. To request deletion of QuickBooks-derived data, CRM data, or an account connection, contact us at the address below. We will verify the request and delete or de-identify eligible information within a reasonable period, subject to lawful retention requirements.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. You may revoke the QuickBooks connection from within QuickBooks or by contacting us. Revocation stops future access but does not automatically delete information previously imported into the CRM.
Children
Our website and CRM are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date.
